PADI Open Water Diver

PADI Advanced Diver

PADI Rescue Diver

The PADI Rescue Diver course is the next step for experienced divers looking to expand their knowledge and take their diving skills to the next level. This comprehensive training program focuses on developing your abilities to handle dive emergencies and provide assistance to fellow divers. From accident prevention to emergency management, you will learn essential skills such as search and recovery techniques, rescue simulations, and underwater communication. By becoming a PADI Rescue Diver, you will have the skills and knowledge to be a reliable and confident buddy in any diving situation.

First Aid

Emergency first aid training providing step-by-step instructions and real-time assistance for medical emergencies within diving and everyday life. This is a great transferable skill to have and looks awesome on your resume.

Transport

All transport from our Mount Roskill Dive Centre to all Dive sites. All transport included to Field trip dive sites. All dive boat fees inclded too.

Dive Gear

This is the only professional course we offer where all dive gear hire is included. It is recommended to have your own mask, fin, snorkel and boots for a better experience but it is not essential. We do offer our students great pay down options for any gear you wish to purchase

Accommodation

Accomodation and overnight field trip to a world renowned dive site out of Auckland.

Free Air

All our students are invited to use their gear on the weekend and we provide free tank hire and fills while on the course.

 It's the chance to Dive all Summer. You can use your student loan and your living allowances continue over the summer

4- Days a week 3 days diving 1 day classroom Tues-Friday 9am-5pm Some days will finish earlier or later

Enrolment Form 1

This is a checklist "0800" Form. Please fill in as much as you can and send it back to us. Available in Word and as a PDF.

Enrolment Form 2

Fill in and sign and email back to us at careers@divehqauckland.co.nz along with the completed 0800 form medical must be filled in and signed by your Doctor.

PADI Medical Form

Fill in this form. If you have any queries please call Mike on 02102508990 and he will answer any questions you may have with your medical history. Please once filled in have the form signed by your Doctor. This is a basic safe to dive medical not a diver medical.

Holidays

We break over Christmas for two weeks then studies continue after the holidays.

Can I still work while a study with Dive HQ Auckland?

Yes, most of our students manage to hold down a part-time job through the Summer while they study. As much as possible we like you to fit in with our course planning but we can discuss any other commitments you have already at your meeting and tour of the facilities.

Do I need to be able to swim?

Yes, it is a requirement that each diver learning to dive must be able to swim 200m. At rescue diver you will be completing rescue senario with other divers. You don''t need to be a champion swimmer just comfortable in a water environment.

Can I continue to study to become a Dive Instructor with Dive HQ when Summer School Ends?

Yes, if you decide this is what you want to do for a career or you have plans to travel overseas you can join our February intake for Full Time studies to become a PADI Professional Dive Instructor.

What are the Medical Requirements?

All divers in New Zealand, require an RSTC Medical Questionnaire completed and signed off by a Doctor. We will give you this form to fill in as part of your enrolment paperwork. You self asses and then you make an appointment with your Dr to sign you off as safe to dive. If you have any questions please call us before completing the medical. 

Full Time Diploma

The Full time Diploma runs for 45 weeks and takes you to PADI Scuba Instructor. Feb and Aug intakes. Click for more info
